Sophia Patchett is originally from Rochester, New York. She is a Senior Printmaking Major at Maine College of Art & Design. She currently works as an artist's assistant for MECA&D alumni Jodi Ferry at her business, Saudade where Sophia’s work is sold. Sophia works with illustrative imagery to create art surrounding themes of feminism, home, and inspiration from organic materials through printmaking mediums such as screenprinting, monotypes, lithography, and more. She experiments with the 2D limitations of printmaking through 3D sculpture and collaging.
